The Coven: Bad Friday
Topic: Coven|
Bad Friday
According to some people, about two thousand years ago, some dude got nailed to a tree.
For the first time in 10 years, Coven falls on the same day set aside to remember that event.
What does that mean? It is up to you! Easter means different things to different people.
The Crucifix: A sign of hope? A sign of execution? Religious Freedom? Scientific Oppression? Inverted? Awesome Jewelry?
Resurrection: An account of triumph? A story for the weak? Zombie Jesus?
Easter Eggs: Pagan Ritual? Commercialism? Diabetes? Chocolate-Coated Awesome?
So come and gothify your Equinox, mourn the death of your “Saviour”, deck yourself out in crucifixes, tighten your wreath of barbs, set your insulin levels to “spike” and partake in some light blasphemy if it suits you, all to the soundtrack of aural apocalypse that The Coven continues to provide!
Come and drink so much that it takes 3 days to get over your hangover, just like Jesus!
Those easily offended should probably go fuck themselves.
DJs to come, but I’m fairly certain we will be seeing the grand unveiling of the dj that has only been mentioned in myth and rumour for the past 5 years… DJ Slimdustrial.

2010 is an exciting time, Its the year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Coven!
A lot of things have happened in that time, and certainly a lot of things have changed in 10 years.
We’re still going strong, so come join in the celebrations! We will have some more specialised 10th Anniversary events as the year goes on.
We’re also looking at compiling some of your memories and impressions of Coven over the years and making a record of it on our site, so if you want to write something small or large about your experiences at The Coven and share them with the rest of the Covenites, start thinking about it now and we’ll get things moving shortly.
Thanks to all who’ve come along over this time because we wouldn’t be still going without you.
